New England Vintage

Boutique event planning specializing in personalized, high end & creative locations

New England Vintage is a feeling not a look.  We started out as a prop shop that helped brides develop and attain their unique look on their wedding day.  As we grew the demand for styling personalized events with warm, textured and heartfelt designs became our number one priority.  Now, 4 years later, we use our organization and experience coupled with our high aesthetic expectations to deliver our clients their own unique and special event.

What sets us apart is our experience with high end, creative and personalized weddings.  Planning your dream wedding may not involve using a cookie cutter venue and at NEV we make this process of using unique and personal locations easy and beautiful.  A tent, barn, field, your house...Even if your dream location does offer weddings on a regular basis - NEV will make your event easy, beautiful and most importantly, uniquely you.

About Jillian

Jillian is the founder and lead designer/planner for NEV and still has full involvement in every wedding planned.

When I was getting married I knew I wanted my wedding to be a warm, homey and fun party.  It was going to be a true reflection of my husband to be and myself.  When I started looking for venues I detested the idea of having "set colors" or having my only choices be white, ivory or blue linens, this centerpiece or that, and so on.  It wasn't until I realized that the best reflection of myself and my husband was in my childhood home that I was able to really get down to business.  The art of pulling together a wedding at home and making it feel effortless is something I thrive on.  After many years of planning and styling weddings in locations that required the extra effort I have come to assemble the perfect team of creative but organized wedding lovers.

I have a real appreciation for dreamy, shabby, detail oriented items.  My favorite finds have come from barns and back woods places in the Berkshires where I grew up.  This aesthetic often comes through in my styling process.  Layers, lace and contrast are themes I try to incorporate into all my designs.

Some other things I totally love:  My husband and baby Mae, my mom (who helps with so many weddings!), my vintage Hermes jacket, Town and Country Magazine, my dog Bruiser, ice coffee black, new ideas and ventures and meeting new people.
